Job Vacancy Salesforce Tester

Capita are hiring a Salesforce Tester to join us on a permanent basis. We are looking for somebody with extensive experience of testing who wants to grow their career in Salesforce testing.

As a Salesforce Tester, your primary objective is to validate whether the System Under Test works as specified by the users and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for writing test cases, test scripts, and test data, as well as executing and recording the outcome of manual and automated testing. You will also log defects as applicable and work in an analytical, disciplined, and systematic approach, taking ownership of small pieces of work with very limited assistance.

Join our team and help us ensure the highest quality of our Salesforce applications! What you'll be doing:  

·        Conducting functional testing, SIT, and regression testing  

·        Using tools automated testing tools such as Selenium and Provar (project dependent)  

·        Performing manual testing  

·        Designing test cases based on the test basis (e.g. user stories)

·        Designing and documenting test cases, scripts and test data

·        Executing and recording manual and automated testing in accordance with test plans

·        Log accurate and complete defects

·        Escalate issues and blockers to Senior Software Tester/Team Lead

·        Applying agreed standards and tools to achieve a well-engineered result

·        Gaining knowledge and experience through on job training

What we're looking for:

·        Extensive experience testing (Salesforce desirable)  

·        Experience writing test scripts  

·        Experience conducting functional testing, SIT, and regression testing  

·        Knowledge of testing tools  such as Provar

·        Manual testing experience  

·        An understanding of Salesforce Sales/Experience Cloud (desirable)

·        Salesforce certified (desirable)
