Freelance job RF Test Engineer - contract

IC Resources is working with a Cambridge based client who provide high-capacity, cost-effective fixed wireless access across the UK and are looking for a freelance RF Test engineer to assist with one of their current projects.

The Role
• Onsite in Cambridge 5 days a week
• 3-6 month contract
• Inside IR35
The Requirements
• Extensive experience in hardware and RF testing, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and advanced lab equipment.  
• Expertise in radiated test setups, anechoic chambers, antennas, and beam-forming technologies.  
• Strong knowledge of digital modulation techniques, modern wireless communication systems, and 3GPP 5G NR test cases.  
• Proficiency in analysing eye and constellation diagrams for troubleshooting wireless systems.  
• Skilled in test strategies and high/low-frequency measurements for wireless products.  
• Practical, hands-on problem solver comfortable working in fast-paced environments.  
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
