We have a great opportunity for a Test Engineer on a long term program of work.Key Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will be responsible for the testing of applications which make up our products & services. This includes defining the appropriate depth and breadth of testing using a risk based approach, and ensuring the stability, robustness and reliability of test suites. They will work with other teams within the Software development Lifecycle to ensure that technical solutions are aligned. * They will build and deliver comprehensive, robust, and reliable automated test frameworks and automation suites to provide full coverage of business requirements.* They will identify and drive resolution of defects or issues preventing delivery of Test Engineering activities.* They will maintain full traceability of defects, tests, and requirements.* They will design, build, and maintain an effective test infrastructure.* They will create and maintain appropriate documentation within the test automation code base.* They will have knowledge of the latest technical test tools and where it would be beneficial to apply them.* They will review the test suite and update the code base to reflect current best practices and reduce technical debt.* They will develop and maintain reusable libraries and services* They will communicate with other teams and share technical resources, knowledge and lessons learned* They will contribute to the production of appropriate test approaches and reporting mechanisms to be agreed with senior stakeholders* They will ensure that usability, accessibility, security, stability, and capacity are embedded in the development of services* Will follow the Engineering guidelines provided as part of the onboarding process.Key Skills & Experiences: Quality Assurance (Functional):* Junit* WireMock* Mocha* Postman* Webdriver* CucumberQuality Assurance (Non-Functional):* aXe-Core* OWASP ZAP* Chekmarx* SonorQube* jmeter* WaveThis is an excellent opportunity on a great project of work, If you are looking for your next exciting opportunity, apply now for your CV to reach me directly, we will respond as soon as possible.
