Job Purpose
To ensure that the relevant business entities successfully migrate from their existing legacy ERP to the replacement Oracle ERP Cloud solution.
Our client has embarked on a strategic program to implement a single ERP solution based on Oracle ERP Cloud, replacing the three different ERPs currently in use across various geographic business units. Oracle Cloud is now live across multiple business units, and the program is advancing to a new phase where Oracle Cloud will go live across some of the largest and most strategically significant business units. This phase also introduces a fixed-price delivery model with a new integrator.
As part of this transition, the team is looking to strengthen its Governance team by onboarding a Transition & Cutover Manager. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition and cutover of the next wave of entities to the ERP Cloud.
The Transition & Cutover Manager will be responsible for ensuring that each entity is fully prepared for the transition, with minimal business impact. Key activities include:
Creating a Detailed Transition Plan: For each cutover activity, ensure local plans are fully aligned with the overall program plan in coordination with key stakeholders.
Collaboration with Change and Implementation Teams: Work closely with the change team and local business implementation managers to ensure that entities have comprehensive, resourced transformation and transition plans, along with business continuity plans addressing major risks.
Regular Reporting: Provide the Governance Team and wider program team with consistent updates on the cutover plans’ status and health.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify and maintain transition issues and risks within the program’s issue and risk register.
Testing Collaboration: Work closely with testing teams to ensure that any remaining defects at the end of UAT are well-understood by business teams, with appropriate mitigation activities included in business continuity plans.
Data Migration Coordination: Collaborate closely with the data migration team to ensure business teams are fully aligned and prepared for data migration and validation steps pre-go-live.
Cutover Supervision: During the cutover phase, conduct daily or necessary cutover meetings with key stakeholders, maintaining updated issue and action registers.
Post-Implementation Support: Address any remaining issues from the cutover to ensure full operational readiness post-transition.
Profil recherché
Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Functional Knowledge: Good understanding of the procurement and project domains.
Project Management: Proficiency in tools and software for project management, such as MS Project.
Certification: PMP or equivalent qualification.
Experience in Business Interaction: Demonstrable ability to listen and respond effectively to the Governance team’s needs, with a proactive, anticipatory approach (e.g., substantial experience interacting with business functions such as Finance, Purchasing, and Engineering departments in a transition role).
Decision-Making Under Pressure: Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, driving people to make timely, appropriate decisions.
Location Requirement: Based in Paris or able to work from the Paris office (role based in Paris, Nanterre, with some remote work accepted—2-3 days per week, depending on program needs).
Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud.
Experience in ERP solutions for construction & engineering companies.
Proficiency in French (speaking and writing).
PowerBI skills.
At least 10 years of experience in managing transitions for large, global ERP projects.
Degree in IT, Engineering, or another relevant field.
