Data Analyst

Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their team based in Peterborough, on a permanent basis.

Please note, the role is hybrid, with 3-4 days per week on-site.

You will be tasked to setup a reporting function, using Power BI. Initially looking to take data from around the business, consolidate and then create a place for the data to sit, and eventually create Power BI reports and visuals. This is a brand-new environment, not developing an existing one.

Data Analyst - Key Skills:

Proficient in Power BI (Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service)â
Proficient in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for calculations and metricsâ
Experience with Power Query for data transformation and cleaningâ
Experience and understanding of relational databases and querying (SQL)â
Experience working with large datasets and optimising reports for performanceâ
Familiar with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is desirableâ
Strong analytical skills and attention to detailâ
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
