Hey Freelancers!
I need a bit of advice really. I currently have a part time job, but have only just started doing a bit of freelancing on the side. Its a monthly thing for pocket money I guess. The most I've earned over an entire month is £100. Do I still need to declare this to the tax office? I'm quite confused!

You'll be paying NI contributions on your self-employed work as well as employed and your tax code will probably change as you no longer have just the one job but if you want to be legal, it's a must. I know someone who didn't declare and got caught out, then owed a fair bit of tax. -
