free lance, please help me!!!!
i start working as a freelance photographer & retoucher. the company told me that i have to pay my own tax. but i don't know how it works. Is there any minimum income for tax? again i work in another place as a part time. so what will i do? please someone help me.

- If yore a freelancer, isnt it expected you pay your own taxes? Anyway, the best move is to seek legal advice from an accountant for his matter.
- Minimum income is about £4,500 and anything above that you'll need to pay income tax.....things may be slightly different after the recent budget, I don't know.
Add up your full income from both jobs and see where you stand. 🙂

they offer free courses (totally confidential) in ta afairs for self employed. Suggest you phone your local office and make an equirey - no come cakck They just want to help you get what you deserve and only take what they are due in Tax and NI (National Insurance).
