Freelance in France, based in UK>

Hello all,
I'm a freelancer based in the UK (Northern Ireland to be precise)
I can understand why a French business would be reluctant to hire a UK citizen for a CDI role, as the tax implications may be complex, but as far as I can tell there are no restrictions on me working in a CDD role for a French company via a UK limited company, especially with teleworking/hybrid models.
I've worked that way for a company in Ireland for a long time and it hasn't been a problem (even after Brexit!)
I see a good number of contract positions suitable for me advertised on here, but I'm getting no response to applications.
Is it possible that I'm being ignored simply because of my location?

yes, it is most likely the reason why you are being ignored

I have personally applied 5 times and 1 was archived pretty quickly and the remaining 4 have not even been seen by the recruiter. You may want to reach out directly on LinkedIn or check on other platform if the same gig is proposed by other companies
