As an Agile project manager, the Product Owner's mission is to meet customer needs by delivering a quality product, for which they are responsible for the design. Focused on digital projects with an IT dimension, they oversee the development of digital tools such as websites, applications, and software. They ensure these projects perfectly meet their clients' expectations by proceeding through "iterations," that is, steps that mark the creation process. With their perfect mastery of agile technologies, they work to accelerate the project's development phases. They manage the "Product Backlog," a to-do list aimed at prioritizing the different features of the product to be developed (business value, implementation effort, risk, technical knowledge). In collaboration with developers, UX designers, and graphic designers, the Product Owner aims to achieve the design of a functional tool, in accordance with the allocated budget and timeframe. A global medical device company are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their Research and Development team on a contract basis. The role is to lead a new project from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will be pro-active and take good initiate to drive the project along. This is not a passive role where the project run itself, you will need to take leadership and ensure project deliverables and milestones are met. You will be joining the project at a very early stage and the project will run for multiple years. Essential Skills: • Medical device, biotech or pharmaceutical project management experience • Experience managing high value projects on time and to budget • Understanding of engineering, validation and how regulated projects work • Stakeholder management experience Desirable Skills: • Pro-active attitude • Interpersonal and communication skills The start date is for ASAP. The initial contract length is for 12 months, with options to extend after. The role is based in Limerick and will only require 1-2 days per week, generally 1 minimum.
