Your future duties and responsibilities • Supporting the Lead Technical Consultant on requirements analysis and solution design, including estimating. • Communicating test results to technical and business stakeholders and working collaboratively to resolve issues raised. • Supporting the team to implement solutions, getting hands-on with test preparation and execution. • Reviewing test baseline documentation, e.g. functional or non-functional specifications; High Level Designs (HLD); Hosting Design Document. • Engaging with users, architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and agree test coverage. • Providing specialist advice to support others, including coaching and mentoring. Required qualifications to be successful in this role • You will have strong core testing skills that encompass testing of infrastructure and/or the ability to adapt testing skills to infrastructure verification. • You will need to be able to create test cases using your in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications (such as reliability, efficiency, usability, maintainability and portability). • You will be able to design automated test scripts in a modular fashion to facilitate reuse and maintenance.
