ASIC Verification Engineer Bristol, onsite work required The company is seeking a talented and experienced ASIC Verification Engineer to join their dynamic team in Bristol. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of WiFi products and will play a crucial role in the low-power verification and verification of system-on-chip (SoC) designs. Responsibilities • Develops and implements UVM-based testbenches for ASIC verification • Verifies low-power design features and optimises power consumption • Contributes to the verification of SoC designs • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality products • Analyses and debugs complex hardware designs Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field • Solid experience in ASIC verification and hardware design • Proficiency in developing UVM-based testbenches • Familiarity with C programming for testbenches • Knowledge of low-power verification techniques • Experience in the development of WiFi products is a plus • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills • Must have the right to work in the UK Day-to-Day • Collaborating with the design team to understand the design intent • Developing and maintaining UVM-based testbenches • Running simulations and debugging issues • Participating in design and code reviews • Writing and maintaining verification test plans and documentation • Communicating with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment

As Principal / Lead Verification Engineer, you will be tasked with leading ASIC / FPGA verification duties, and developing the UVM environment. Must-have experience: • Circa 10 years' experience in digital or AMS verification • VHDL / SystemVerilog • RTL design / coding • ASIC / FPGA digital verification knowledge • Tcl / Python or similar coding / scripting • UVM (Nice-to-have experience): • Previous experience setting up or developing a UVM environment. • embedded software • DevOps / software automation / CI/CD • Other verification packages (e.g. OVM, OSVVM, Cocotb) • Formal verification *Visa sponsorship is available

Overview This role will require involvement at all stages of the testing lifecycle, with equal emphasis on the production of test documentation and the conducting of testing on Payment systems. The role will involve both producing and executing test plans and test scripts within a formally agreed schedule, as well as customer and other 3rd party liaison. Responsibilities '-Production of test documentation such as test plans and test scripts / cases.'-Advising on the scope of functionality requiring testing and the associated time and resource requirements.'-Conducting all types of testing including Unit, Skim, System, Functional, Regression, Integration, Stress, Certification and Client end to end testing.'-Creating test scripts on the available test tools and simulators.'-Recording of results with the appropriate evidence.'-Problem log management, from initial analysis through to resolution.'-Liaison with customers and suppliers, both internal and external, to ensure successful resolution of issues found in testing.'-Analysing client requirements for the purpose of defining the testing requirements.'-Peer reviewing of testing documentation that has been produced.'-Set-up and maintenance of test tools and simulators.'-Feed into the continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures.'-Understand the need for confidentiality when dealing with customer information and payments information.
