A Semiconductor company in the AI field developing sensor SoC's for automotive, medical and consumer applications is looking for innovative Analog IC Designers to join their team in Graz. This is very exciting new technology where you will develop network templates for an entire AI system. You will be based in Graz. If you are a Senior Analog IC Designer with very good knowledge in device physics who can work at parasitics level and has experience in ultra-low power Analog IC Design for sensors and is very good in solving problems, then this might be for you. Your responsibility will be the development of Analog IC’s from concept to system level used for AI in Sensor SoC's (ADC's) to make in new technologies smart. As the successful Analog IC Designer you are industry degree qualified and have senior-level industry experience in Analog Mixed Signal IC Design (Cadence, CMOS, DRC, LVS, Calibre...), preferably with experience in ADC’s for sensors and a good understanding of the system level and are driven to innovate new technologies. I am recruiting a Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer to join Product Design Team where you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of cutting-edge sensor technologies. As part of this team, you will be responsible for the circuit design of mixed-signal building blocks, focusing on analog design for critical components. This position involves performance analysis, optimisation, design verification, and the integration of considerations for test, yield, and reliability into the design process. Moreover, you will contribute significantly to specifying and implementing functional safety features for automotive applications. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the design of mixed-signal building blocks, particularly emphasising analog design for crucial components in sensor products. • Engage in detailed performance analysis and optimisation activities to ensure the highest level of functionality and efficiency in the designed circuits. • Implement robust design verification processes to validate the functionality and performance of the designed analog circuits • Integrate considerations for testability, yield improvement, and reliability enhancement into the analog circuit design process. • Play a pivotal role in specifying and implementing functional safety features, ensuring compliance with automotive safety standards for sensor applications. Qualifications • Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. • Proven experience in analog circuit design, especially in mixed-signal building blocks. • Proficiency in performance analysis, optimisation, and design verification. • Familiarity with considerations for test, yield, and reliability in circuit design. • Knowledge of functional safety concepts and experience in implementing safety features for automotive applications is highly desirable.
