With locations in Munich and Dusseldorf, our expanding Semiconductor client is looking for a Senior Field Application Engineer with rich experience in the industrial / automotive fields. Our client is a specialised leader in sensors and power management, and offers solutions such as magnetic sensors, isolators, power supplies and other components. They have offices worldwide, and have exciting plans to significantly expand their presence in Germany, seeking FAE and sales professionals. The successful Field Application Engineer will be responsible for: • Conducting customer visits and defining all potential projects • Providing professional technical support, building a long-term customer relationship through excellent technical communication • Recommending suitable products with a proactive approach to customers • Solving customers' technical problems through on-site application support and internal support • Continuously following up customer project developments, execute business rollout plans with the sales team Requirements include: • A Bachelors / Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field • Several years of experience working as a Field Application Engineer within the Semiconductor / Electronics field • Expertise working with industrial and / or automotive applications • Excellent communication skills in English, German would be preferred • Willingness to travel An excellent salary and bonus package is on offer. Our client is a phenomenally successful RISC-V processor company addressing AI applications. As part of plans to significantly build their European presence, they seek an experienced Field Application Engineer with an understanding of high-end CPUs to join their new team. In this role, the Field Application Engineer will serve as the primary technical contact with customers within the automotive industry, and provide expert guidance and support in implementing AI / Machine Learning software solutions. This team is developing from ground zero, so it’s a chance to join as one of the very first hires and make a truly significant impact.
