Staff Hardware Application Engineer (South Korea) - Global Leader in RISC-V Processors

We are thrilled to announce four exclusive opportunities for Staff Hardware Application Engineers with a pioneering leader in RISC-V processor technology.

Based in South Korea, these roles offer the chance to work with world-class SoC design teams, providing critical support for integrating and implementing advanced RISC-V solutions.

Role Overview: As a Staff Hardware Application Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting customers with RISC-V IPs, addressing integration challenges, and ensuring successful product deployments. These roles will involve collaboration across Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to demonstrate the value of RISC-V products and represent customer feedback within the company.

Compensation:
• Annual Salary: USD $144,000 - $180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
• Customer Support: Provide support to customers using RISC-V IPs, resolving integration and implementation challenges.
• On-Site Assistance: Deliver on-site support as needed, ensuring smooth customer deployments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to demonstrate RISC-V products, resolve technical issues, and represent customer feedback internally.
• Training & Documentation: Conduct customer training sessions and contribute to improved documentation, including application notes and knowledge-based articles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience, with a background in technical support being a plus.
• Education: BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Technical Expertise: • Strong foundation in CPU and bus architectures.
• Deep knowledge of SoC design, verification methodologies, and EDA tools.
• Proficiency in Verilog and assembly language.
• Familiarity with development tools such as Linux, Git, and Jira.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to independently deliver customer training.
• Personal Attributes: Self-starter with a fast-learning aptitude, proactive approach, and excellent troubleshooting skills.
