This is an outstanding opportunity for a Technical Lead of Computing Architecture to join our client, a global chip giant based in Zurich, Switzerland.

Building on decades of research, our client is creating a brand-new facility in Zurich. They seek a Technical Lead of Computing Architecture to assist in planning and building this new research group, and to guide the team’s technical direction. Working with the Director, the Technical Lead of Computing Architecture will define technical projects, oversee the overall architecture design and project implementation. It’s an amazing chance to have a big impact on exploration and breakthroughs in the area of advanced Computing Architectures.

The Technical Lead of Computing Architecture will have:
• A MSc / PhD in Electronics Engineering or area related to computer architecture
• Several years’ of relevant research experience, either within industry or academia, focused in any of the following areas: instruction set architecture (ISA), microarchitecture, cache sub-system, memory sub-system, NoC (network-on-chip), interconnect
• A track record of publishing research papers in the field of computer architecture / microarchitecture
