Your future duties and responsibilities As a Content Designer at CGI, you'll play a critical role in creating user-centred information for important government services. Your expertise will ensure that the information provided to users is clear, concise and relevant, making government services accessible and simple to use. Key duties include: • Developing and implementing content that meets user needs • Creating, editing and managing high-quality content for digital services, ensuring consistency and adherence to the GOV.UK style guide, design principles and WCAG 2.2 AA • Conducting content audits and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement • Understanding how to test content with users to gather feedback and iterate based on findings • Collaborating with other user-centred design disciplines to create effective government services • Supporting user research and usability testing activities • Understanding users' needs and behaviours, analysing evidence and translating user stories into content that meets their needs • Working to the government service manual and agile delivery phases Required qualifications to be successful in this role • Proven experience in content design • Working knowledge of the GOV.UK style guide and design principles • Experience working with government publishing tools or content management systems (CMS) • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to analyse and understand complex information, presenting it in a clear and simplified manner • Experience analysing user research to inform content design decisions • Collaborative and comfortable working in the open and receiving critique • Proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team • Influencing and communication skills with the ability to advocate successfully for users #LI-RJ1 Together, as owners, let's turn meaningful insights into action.
