Job Vacancy Hardware Lab Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Hardware Laboratory Manager to join a fast-growing company specialising in developing advanced technology for the automotive industry.

As the Hardware Laboratory Manager you’ll lead the daily operations of the hardware lab, overseeing hardware bring-up and testing activities. This role includes hands-on work with soldering and assembling prototypes, collaborating with engineering teams to develop and execute test plans and methodologies, and maintaining clear documentation for lab processes.

Requirements for this Hardware Laboratory Manager:
• Proven experience in a hardware lab environment.
• Expertise in soldering, prototyping, and testing.
• Strong understanding of automotive networking standards and protocols.
• Proficiency in debugging and configuring testbed setups, including using power supplies, oscilloscopes, and network traffic generators.
• Experience with lab management tools.
• Working knowledge of Linux or similar operating systems.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Location Requirement: Due to the hands-on nature of the role, the successful candidate will need to work from the lab at least three days per week.
