Experienced Project Manager needed for National Grid substation build in Oxfordshire

We are seeking an experienced and skilled project manager to join our team on a contract basis. Our client, who is involved in the construction of substations, requires your expertise to manage their latest project with the National Grid.

As a Project Manager at one of the UK's leading energy infrastructure companies, you will be responsible for overseeing every aspect of this critical development from start-up through completion. You'll need extensive experience managing complex projects within tight deadlines and budgets.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as Project Manager include but not limited to,
- Planning and executing all aspects of national grid substation builds
- Providing strong leadership skills while working alongside clients' representatives ensuring that high standards are maintained throughout each stage
- Ensuring compliance requirements such as safety regulations are met by workers during site activities.

Qualifications & Skills

To apply successfully for this role please ensure that you possess;
- NSI6 & NSI8 Competent Person ticket would be required
-A proven record track record demonstrating successful delivery against contractual obligations including HSE performance targets; effectively using scheduling tools like Primavera P6 or MS Projects would also be beneficial.
-The ability communicate fluently both verbally & written English across various levels stakeholders since most communication channels involve reporting progress updates along hierarchies containing technical/non technical personnel alike

Location

The job location lies around Oxfordshire area where it offers excellent transport links making commuting easier hence reducing travelling time considerably especially if residing nearby towns/villages/cities

Rate

This position comes with competitive rates starting at £550 per day based upon previous experiences delivering similar projects over years together being able work well independently without much supervision

No Ltd company workers. Only CIS or PAYE Umbrella.
