C# Developer

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Head of Development, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining both new and existing web applications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing custom web applications using the .NET Framework, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
  • Designing, developing, and testing web applications using .NET, HTML, CSS, and other relevant technologies.
  • Overseeing software architecture, design, and coding from concept to completion.
  • Consulting with end users to identify opportunities for process automation and cost reduction.
  • Keeping your technical skills and industry knowledge up to date.
  • Contributing ideas to enhance software applications.

As a C# .NET Developer, you should offer:

  • Extensive experience as a C# .NET Developer in a dynamic commercial environment, with experience in the Financial Services sector being highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, or VB.NET.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (ASP, HTML, VBScript, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of software design principles.
  • Experience with Git for source code management, Continuous Integration, and unit testing practices.

 

 

 

Additional standards beneficial skills include:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Telerik/Kendo.
  • Object-oriented programming skills.
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server).
  • Knowledge of industry-standard coding, patterns, and practices.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000,
  • To achieve the maximum compensation package, candidates should possess all the outlined experience, skills, knowledge, and qualifications.

  • Hybrid working model after the initial three months (up to three days remote work per week, depending on project needs).
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Working hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, with 22 days of holiday plus statutory holidays, increasing with service.
