Senior Infrastructure Engineer London £70,000 - £75,000 per annum VIQU have partnered with a leading international company who are seeking a senior infrastructure engineer to aid with the design and implementation of their enterprise infrastructure landscape. They are currently migrating into an Azure infrastructure, so candidates must have experience leading migrations from on-prem into Azure, and O365. Job duties of the Senior Infrastructure Engineer: â Design of the enterprise infrastructure landscape. Writing HLDs/LLDs and implementing the designs.â Administration of O365 (SharePoint, Security, Defender, Teams, Exchange).â Azure Hybrid Cloud administration, contributing to the migration into Azure cloud.â Working with separate NOC and SOC teams to ensure security and networks are compliant to standards.â Creating and managing policy using Intune.â Management of backup systems.â Utilising security monitoring tools. â Provide third line technical support, for any network, security and infrastructure tickets. Requirements of the Senior Infrastructure Engineer: â Experience of implementing and designing Azure cloud infrastructure at a 3rd line level. AWS infrastructure is an added bonus but Azure is essential. â Design and implementation experience across M365 solutions. M365 migration experience is a must.â Infrastructure design and architecture experience.â Experience working with a complex, enterprise infrastructure environment.â Implementation of backup solutions and development/testing of disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
