Your future duties and responsibilities • Maintain, monitor, and manage Linux-based server infrastructures, including Redhat, Debian, and container operating systems. • Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all Linux servers and associated applications. • Implement security measures and perform regular updates to safeguard the infrastructure. • Sustain and decommission IT platforms utilising Cisco FlexPod CVD patterns. • Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting on Cisco FlexPod systems. • Collaborate with network and storage teams to ensure seamless integration and performance. • Manage and maintain container orchestration platforms including Kubernetes (K8S), K3S, Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, and Google GKE. • Implement and monitor containerised solutions for optimal performance and security.Ensure the seamless integration of container environments with existing infrastructure. • Manage and maintain F5 load balancers to ensure reliable and secure network traffic distribution. • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues promptly. Collaborate with network teams to ensure optimal network performance and security. • Manage and maintain Apache NiFi data flow management systems. • Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of data flows within the infrastructure. • Implement best practices for data flow management and automation. Required qualifications to be successful in this role • Experience managing linux based server infra, including redhat, debian and container operating systems. • Strong understanding of container orchestration platforms (K8S, K3S, EKS, AKS, GKE). • Experience with network management, particularly using F5 load balancers. • Familiarity with Apache Nifi and data flow management. • Strong understanding of networking, storage and virtualisation technologies. The security and support of the company's network is paramount. Predominately a support role (BAU) with design of scalable solutions deliverable through projects. Encompassing numerous technologies that benefit high-availability solutions. This role requires a responsible individual who can design and deliver secure networking solutions. Working for a fascinating semiconductor company, who is focussed in RISC-V core IP development; within this team your responsibility will include, but not limited, to: • Deliver RTL to the SoC team, support verification and silicon validation teams, and work with SW teams to support successful deployments of the system. • Evaluate new IPs, driving new IP deployments as well as defining system wide guidelines for IPs requirement in the SoC. • Closely drive resolution of issues and bugs gating the completion of schedule.
