Must have Findur with Java and JVS development skills. Ensure the integrity, security and accuracy of production database environment, ensuring good performance of the dependent applications. Plan and implement operating procedures for backup of database and recovery of database information. Develop database-related application development standards covering database creation, software placement, storage and auditing. Ensures the integrity of the recovery system at all times. Operation, design and implementation experience of Mirroring, Log Shipping and SQL Server Replication. SQL Reporting services and Analysis services maintenance and tuning. Good understanding of WINTEL environment with AD domain and user administration. OpenLink Findur Treasury Application would be handy but not a must. Change management concepts and application Configuration and operation of clustered database Servers using external storage. Scripting stored procedures. Security concepts of database management.Change management concepts and application. The role will be to work as a MS SQL DBA with an element of supporting financial applications development with SQL Server and Java. The financial applications include Openlink's Findur product and Sungard's Panorama system - you will be trained in this. The Client is keen to recruit an individual who has experience of Findur and in particular Openlink's scripting language AVS - but this is NOT a must as you will be trained in the use of Findur.
