Our client is an international systems integrator who require a Network Architect to support one of their core programmes. *** OUTSIDE IR35 ***START: ASAPEND: MARCH 25 (SCOPE TO EXTEND)RATE: MARKET RATES APPLYLOCATION: NORTH EAST OR GLASGOW (ON-SITE)Network Architect with demonstrated experience to administrate, Secure cloud based Infrastruture .To create conceptual, logical and physical network architectures, documents, testing analyses, test plans and risk assessments to ensure sound architecture which meet client needs Essential Job Functions* Analytical and creative problem-solving skills for design, creation, and testing of first-of-type network solutions. * Skilled in time, priority and task management* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Leadership ability to effectively lead a team.* Ability to adapt to a changing environment* Nine or more years of experience in datacentre networkso CCNP level certification, or alternative vendor equivalento Expert-level understanding of fundamental networking principleso Experience working with network software and hardwareo Solid understanding of routing design (BGP, VRF, OSPF)o Solid understanding of Layer-2 designo Experience of network security components (Firewall, IPS)o Preferred knowledge of HPE, Aruba, Juniper, Fortigate, Checkpoint, F5o Knowledge of NSX would be a bonusDue to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply.
