Cambridge English websites attract over 3 million international visitors per year and are vital to drive awareness of our products and services, create new business opportunities and generate revenue.  The Web Development Manager plays a key role in the ongoing development of our main websites, collaborating with business and technology teams to define and implement new features and improvements to our online customer experience.

About the role

Key accountabilities include:

  • Collaborate with teams across Cambridge English and other business units to define business requirements for our websites.
  • Work with technology teams to manage delivery of new solutions and improvements, acting as an agile product owner for English.
  • Manage the wide range of infrastructure and tools which are critical to the smooth operation and optimisation of the Cambridge English websites, including (but not limited to): content-management systems, domain management, translation services, tag management, web analytics, SEO tools. 

About you

You will have at least 3 years or equivalent experience working on significant sized websites built on content management systems, ideally those supporting multiple languages, within an international organisation.

Hands on experience using Tridion and Drupal are desirable.

Excellent communication, negotiation and prioritisation skills are essential, with evidence of a strong track record as an agile product owner, preferably using Jira.

A good working knowledge of website accessibility and technical SEO are important, as well as familiarity with techniques to measure and enhance user experience across different devices and browsers.

Experience with translation technology for websites is desirable.
