About The Role Team - Lean Agile Centre of Excellence Working Pattern - Hybrid - 2 days per week in either the London, Stockport or Bournemouth offices. Full time hours. 6 Months Fixed Term Contract. Top 3 skills needed for this role: An excellent communicator and motivatorAgile certifications e.g. SAFe SPC, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), ICAgile Certified Professional, etc.5+ years of experience as an Agile Coach working in a software delivery environment What this role is all about: We are looking for an experienced Agile Coach to join our Lean-Agile Centre of Excellence (LACE) and help transition our business from its existing work practices to infusing understanding of scaled agile and business agility from the top-down. You will coach, mentor, and guide our people to figure out the best solutions for their specific challenges. You will analyse the organisation's existing structure and implement improvements to help streamline processes and create efficiencies. Ultimately, you will play a key role in the long-term strategy across the entire Enterprise organisation, helping our teams to deliver better products in a faster, more efficient manner. Key Actions Facilitate learning and development through one on one and team coaching and trainingCoach Journey Leadership in SAFe practices to ensure adoption of best practices from top-downEffectively communicate SAFe principles and practices and overall operating model across the organisationChampion the use of metrics and other objective measures to help drive continuous improvement across teamsKeep a fact-based perspective on issues and apply agile principles to help understand the root cause What do you need to thrive? You will be working within a Software Engineering team, working with our National Security Customers to build and run systems that support their core mission capabilities. You will be: Helping individuals, teams and the wider organisation to understand what it means to implement, adopt and embrace an Agile mindset. Guiding, coaching and mentoring teams and organisations to embrace Agile ways of working to help them thrive in a complex world. Ensuring that teams and organisations understands and adheres to Agile theory and practices. You will facilitate stakeholder collaboration, removing barriers between stakeholders and the team and/or organisation. As an Agile Coach, you will help everyone to understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work to maximize the value created by the team. At a team-level, you are accountable for the teams effectiveness. You will help the team to perform at its highest level as a whole team and supporting the process to enable it to successfully deliver value. You will do this by promoting self-organisation within the team, causing the removal of any impediments to the teams progress and facilitating the teams events and ceremonies. Supporting healthy team dynamics by creating psychologically safe environments where transparency and trust are catalysts for change and continuous improvement.
