Key Responsibilities: Network Operations & Support: -Provide advanced troubleshooting for Dell OS10, Sonic switches, Cisco firewalls, switches, routers, Palo Alto firewalls, and NSX-T. -Manage and maintain spine and leaf architectures, BGP, VPN configurations, and data centre patching. -Ensure high availability and performance of network services. Integration & Design: -Contribute to the design and integration of new network solutions to meet evolving business needs. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network improvements and expansions. -Maintain detailed network design documentation for operational transparency. Infrastructure Management: -Oversee IP address management and DNS configuration. -Configure and optimise load balancing solutions (F5 experience is highly desirable). -Integrate and manage InfoBlox solutions where applicable. Collaboration & Leadership: -Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. -Work closely with other infrastructure teams to align network operations with broader IT strategies. On-Call Support: -Participate in an on-call rota to resolve critical incidents outside of business hours. Required qualifications to be successful in this role -Defence sector experience or experience in a highly regulated environment. -Proven experience in a senior network engineering role, with a focus on support, integration, and design. Expertise in: -Dell OS10, Sonic switches -Cisco firewalls, switches, and routers -Palo Alto firewalls and NSX-T - Deep understanding of spine and leaf architecture, BGP, VPNs, and data centre patching. - Strong knowledge of load balancing, DNS, and IP address management (F5 and InfoBlox experience is highly desirable). - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Desired Competencies: -Understanding of cross-domain technologies (Tiger Traps, Garrison, OpsWat, NiFi). -Familiarity with VMware infrastructure technologies. -Experience using Elastic for monitoring and analytics. Your future duties and responsibilities Join our dynamic storage team and play a critical role in managing and maintaining our enterprise-scale data storage solutions. Key Tasks: • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and design cost-effective storage solutions tailored to their needs. • Storage Management: Oversee the management, maintenance, and support of large-scale data storage systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. • Upgrades and Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and execute software and hardware upgrades for storage components, collaborating with vendors as necessary to ensure seamless integration. • Provisioning and Availability: Handle storage provisioning tasks, from processing user requests to creating volumes, mapping, and ensuring storage availability at the operating system level. • Performance and Capacity Analysis: Conduct thorough storage performance analysis and capacity management to maintain system efficiency and address potential issues proactively.
