Are you an experienced Ventilation Engineer interested in delivering the Engineering content across multiple Facilities within the Conventional and Nuclear Projects' portfolio? The Lead in AWE's Ventilation Operations has a vacancy available that will give you the opportunity to carry out the following: Support existing facilities and new projects relating to all matters associated with ventilation and filtration Undertake facility visits and walkdowns as necessary to gain familiarisation of ventilation systems and arrangements and provide advice when issues may arise and/or when modifications are proposed Co-ordinate and undertake comprehensive 'end to end' inspections and assessments of ventilation systems in nuclear, other hazardous and conventional facilities Support the updating and configuration of ventilation documentation and the associated databases. Join us as a Senior Data Domain Architect , to deliver and promote architecture patterns and solutions for our data domain. You provide Solution Architects within delivery project teams expert advice and leadership on data design elements of solutions. DWP is the UK's largest government department. We'd love you to join us. Delivery. Work. Projects. You'll be our Senior Data Domain Architect , working on DWP's core data architecture and digital strategy. You will have the ability and agency to advise, steer, and influence decisions at the centre of DWP's digital transformation. You will govern solution designs, approving architecture decisions and technology choices. You will share your data domain knowledge and experience to drive IT strategy, including defining the tools and techniques most appropriate for the environment. You will deliver and promote architecture patterns and solutions for the data domain, including: Solution designs, approving architecture decisions and technology choices. Supporting the delivery of a data technology roadmap. Understanding industry trends and research in the data domain. Supporting the data design elements of solutions. Assist in defining the strategic IT data architecture. You will have no line management responsibilities. You will work closely with our Lead Data Domain Architect. You will need the skills to: Govern architecture design of business-critical IT projects/services in a large, complex UK central government or private sector organisation. Develop data strategies, blueprints, reference architectures, and design patterns. Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models. Understand database design, technologies, design patterns, tools, and best practices (including RDBMS, NoSQL, and Open Source). Work with public cloud technologies, cloud hosting, and best practices. Details. Wages. Perks. Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield. whichever is most convenient for you. Pay: We offer competitive pay from £55,557 to £70,000 Pension: You'll be eligible for a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.97%, worth up to £19,000 a year. Holidays: You'll get a generous leave package starting at 26 days rising to 31 , plus all the usual bank holidays, and the option to take extra days off on flexi leave.
