As an Industrial Placement student in our Core Technology Team, you will be a valued member of the IT Department, bringing your analytical nature and high standards to a range of range of exciting, real-world challenges. Working collaboratively across the IT Department, your ideas and skills will make a tangible contribution to the performance of our team, both on and off the track, working to support, operate and evolve our networking capabilities. During this placement you will have the opportunity to work with industry leading networking technologies in fields such as data centre, campus and wireless networking, perimeter security and associated software systems. Essential: As a minimum, the successful candidate must have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies, and must have at least one year of academic studies left (undergraduate or postgraduate) at the time of taking up your placement with us in July 2025. You will have a strong background in computer science with a good understanding of networking and security concepts and principles. You will be capable of working both independently and as part of a team, have a learning mindset, good organisation and problem-solving skills and a fine attention to detail. Flexibility in hours and approach is required, along with a ‘can do', ‘team-playing' attitude and the ability to work to strict deadlines under minimal supervision. It does not matter whether you already have an interest in motorsport, or not: we are looking for candidates who are passionate about reaching their full potential and are excited about constantly learning.
